The surveys original purpose was to see if the individual management of our own dogs differed from that of other responsible breeders. Incidentally our management doesn't always match with the proposed legislation that will be put forward in the future.

The full analysis of the survey will take some time, however we hope to have some results available within 24 hours of the survey closing.

In just 4 days, we  had an  amazing 600 responses  and the numbers keep rising.

The reasoning and energy behind this site is our wish to try and inspire responsible breeders to become more involved in the decision making process at the highest level. 
Do you know that processes have begun that may impact on how you are allowed to breed in the future? Legislation to curb puppy farming could impact on your choices more than it does on puppy farmers.  

"Any new legislation passed to improve the welfare of dogs should be workable and not adversely affect the many responsible breeders who have always had dog welfare at the forefront of their minds. It should be sensible, workable and enforced." 

Laws intended to ensure welfare conditions on puppy farms exist already but are not enforced.

This website is intended to be used as a brain storming area where ideas can be offered for consideration and debate.
  
New regulations should have the teeth to act against puppy farms, and their owners, and bring an end to this awful trade. 
Using current laws the authorities should be able to bring an end to puppy farming using the existing regulations - they seem reluctant to do so.
